Sister Marie Vandenbergh, r.c., 98, passed away May 8, 2021 at the Resurrection Life Center in Chicago. Beloved daughter of the late Verna Johnson Vandenberg and the late Peter J Vandenbergh. Dear sister of the late Peter Vandenbergh, Jr. and the late Henry (Lorraine) Vandenbergh. Fond aunt of Nancy, Louise, Marianne, Jim, John, Dan and Peter. Great and great grand aunt of many. Sister Marie has been a Cenacle sister for 76 years; ministering in Houston, TX., Sacramento CA, Newport, RI, Milwaukee, WI, St Louis, MO, Warrenville, IL and Argentina. Visitation will take place Saturday, May 15, 2021 at the M J Suerth Funeral Home, 6754 N. Northwest Hwy., Chicago from 10: 00 AM until time of funeral Mass at 11:00 AM.
