Skentzos, 98, December 4, 2020, longtime resident of the Southwest Side of Chicago-Clearing neighborhood, loving husband of Georgia Skentzos, nee Nikolopoulous; beloved father of Christina (Kevin) Mannion, Gina (Bill) Stopka, George Skentzos, and Nick (late Sherri) Skentzos; beloved grandfather of Tracy (Samuel Becker) Mannion, Joey (Ashley White) Stopka, Billy Stopka, Hailey Stopka, Owen Skentzos, Wyatt Skentzos, Vincent Skentzos, and Nicolas Skentzos; proud great- grandfather of Logan Stopka and Phoenix Eleni Becker; proud uncle of nephews and nieces in Canada, as well as family members in Greece and in the U.S.A.

Services at CENTRAL CHAPEL, 6158 S. Central Ave., Chicago, IL, where family and friends will gather on Tuesday, December 8, 2020, from 8:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. Funeral Service Tuesday, December 8, 2020, 11:30 a.m., at Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church, 7560 Archer Ave., Justice, IL. Rev. Father Demetrios Kounavis, officiating. Burial Bethania Cemetery, Justice, IL.
