Eleanor J. Russ, nee Spevak, age 92, of La Grange Park. Beloved wife of the late Leslie E. Russ Sr.; loving mother of Mary (Paul) Suta, Laura (Rick) Meyer, Les (Christine) Russ Jr, and Sharon (Jim) Ranos; devoted grandmother of Jon, Christine (Kriss), Craig (Amy), Sarah (Adam) and Matthew; dear great grandma to Emma, Gabriel, Nicolas, Blake, Henry and Tristan; sister to Erv Spevak, the late Otto Spevak and the late Rose Kraft; aunt and great aunt to many.
Eleanor was a long time member of St Louise Woman’s Club and an active volunteer with the Spread Program.
Visitation will be held Saturday, September 9, 2023, 8:30 A.M. to 10:30 A.M. at Hitzeman Funeral Home, Ltd., 9445 31st Street, Brookfield, IL 60513. Funeral Saturday 10:30 A.M. to St Louise de Marillac Church, Mass 11:00 A.M.
Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside.
