In loving memory of Betty Jean (Nichols) Griffin,78, who departed from this world on December 25, 2023.

She was a beloved mother, wife, grandmother, daughter and sister known for her strength, passion, organizational skills, grace, faith, devotion to her family and siblings, her love of shopping, Prince, Judge Judy & Judge Mathis, traveling, her grand-daughter Laila-Grace and family. Her presence brought warmth and joy to those around her.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Ollie Nichols and Mary Childs and her sister Jeanette Rice. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Earnest Griffin, Sons, Kendall (51) & Randall (45) Griffin, her only grandchild, Kendall Laila-Grace Griffin (21), Brother Walter Nichols, and sisters Phylis McCalister, and Brenda Jordan.

The funeral service to celebrate her life will be held on Thursday, January 4, 2024 at Rock of Ages Baptist Church, 1309 Madison St. Maywood, IL. Friends and family are invited to join us in paying our respects and sharing memories.

May her soul rest in peace, and may we find comfort in the cherished memories she leaves behind.
