Beloved daughter of Antonio and Sanjuana (Ramirez) Rodriguez. Devoted sister of Juan C. (Erika) Rodriguez, Aracely (Mark) Knapp, Israel Rodriguez, Noemi Rodriguez, Stephanie (Benito) Oros, Ulysses Rodriguez, and Esteban (Karen) Rodriguez. Melissa was a loving aunt and friend to many.
Melissa loved outdoor activities such as hiking and camping. She was a strong swimmer and loved the water. Family outings were known as “little adventures”. She enjoyed reading and listening to a variety of music. As a nurse, she was a compassionate and caring caretaker. Her greatest joy was being a mom. She was a FANTASTIC MOTHER.
