Florence A. Demski, age 99, of Naples, FL and formerly of Midlothian, IL passed away March 23, 2024.

Beloved wife and best friend of the late Frank Demski for over 58 years. Devoted mom of 6 sons: Larry (Kathi), Don (Sandy), Ken (the late Sandy), Patrick, Frank (Rosa) and Rich (Sheila). Loving grandmother of 15: Laura, Sarah, Megan (Larry), Tammy, April, Kristin and the late Dan (Don), Katie, Amy (Ken), Frank Jr., Michael, Nicholas, Julia (Frank), Brittany, Natalie (Rich). Cherished great-grandmother of 25: Brayden, Weston Rhodes; Emory, Easton, Winnie, Oscar White; Arthur, Brann Flowers; Joshua, Madeline, Quinton Baxa; Kelsey Demski; Ella, Myles, Eli, Landon Nelson; Lucy, Ophelia, Ryker, Taybor Chally; Thomas, Charles, Abbey, Joseph Roberts; and Aiden Demski. Aunt of many nieces and nephews. Also preceded in death by her dearest twin sister Lillian; brothers

Bruno, Michael, and Joe; and in-laws Bernice (Walter Ciszek), Kay, Marie, Alice, and Albert.

Florence was a co-founder and volunteer at the St Christopher Gift Shop for almost 20 years. She also volunteered at St Christoher Bingo and Fiesta. Longtime member of the Rosary Alter Society, 3rd Order of St Francis, and St Vincent de Paul Society. And was a Lector, Commentator and E.O.M. for many years.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital are appreciated.

Visitation Friday April 5, 2024, from 2 – 8 PM at Hickey Memorial Chapel 4201 W. 147th St. Midlothian, IL 60445. Funeral Saturday 9:30 AM prayers at the Funeral Home going to St Christopher Church – St Augustine Parish for 10 AM Funeral Mass. Interment Resurrection Cemetery
