Obituary

Anthony J. Jandacek, Jr., Air Force Veteran, age 87 of LaGrange Park, formerly of Prague, Czechoslovakia. Beloved husband of Carmella “Carme” Jandacek, nee Janda; fond father of Camille (Jim) Jandacek Pinotti; dear grandfather of Gianna Pinotti; brother of Petr (Louise) Jandacek, Vera (the late Gary) Wilt and the late Marie J. (the late Stanley) Smelhaus; uncle and cousin to many; remembering all family and friendships kept from the Czech Republic.

Tony was a lifelong teacher, over 30 years as a high school teacher; also lecturing and teaching night school and adult continuing education classes ranging from language to hunting mushrooms. Anthony enjoyed traveling and all art venues. Tony will always be affectionately known as the “Houby King.”

With the current concerns of Covid, Visitation and Mass at Divine Providence Church, Westchester are Private. Extended family and friends are invited to participate virtually Saturday.
